From Our Customers

“The attraction is the friendly atmosphere, low prices and huge variety. Lee’s Farmers’ Market offers over 100 products delivered from Italy. This includes 150 imported cheeses and a wide variety of pastas. They also offer genuine Carnegie Deli Corned Beef Sandwich, the meat is shipped directly from New York City! Ok if you have never been to New York you may not understand but take my word for it, it is THE best. There is so much to see there that you need to go and see for yourself, my description does not do it justice.”

“When I think of the SC coast, I don’t think of hot pastrami. Until now.  Lee’s isn’t quite like anything I’ve seen before. It’s a combination farmer’s market, deli, candy shop and gourmet food shop. You can get fresh local produce here at good prices, but also stop in for meats, cheeses, and other gourmet items (jellies, jams, fudge, peanut brittle, etc). I’m sure there’s more but I didn’t have the time to explore the store fully. Suffice to say, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.”

“By far the best polish sausage I have every bought in a store that was not a polish meat market.”

“This place is good, I’ve been here a few times picking up produce and what not. Never been  disapointed with anything I’ve gotten here. The stuff here is top of the line. Must go here.”

“WOW! So much more than you’ d expect from a Farmers Market- lobster tank, fresh-served Carnegie Deli sandwiches, gourmet cheeses, meats and pastas. I was really impressed. It looked like any other road-side produce market from the highway, but it was much more!”
- Google Reviews

“Stop by Lee’s Farmer’s Market, they offer a fine selection of imported cheeses, fresh vegetables and fruits, excellent Italian olive oils, handcut to order USDA prime steaks and other foods equally impossible to find in local supermarkets. If you don’t find what you’re looking for there they will be happy to point you in the right direction. Lee’s is my first stop whenever I go to the coast.”

Lee’s Farmers Market is a lot more than produce. Lots of jarred fruits and pickled vegetables packaged specially for Lee’s. Deli meats. Breads. An extensive Italian gourmet selection, including 21 different kinds of ravioli from New Jersey’s premier supplier, Casa di Trevi (I’m trying the goat cheese & roasted red pepper ravioli tonight). And, of course, desserts to finish off your feast (how does chocolate swirl cheesecake from Evelyn’s Delights sound?). Good times, man.  Good times, indeed.”
- Myrtle Beach Sun News

“Lee’s Farmers Market—my favorite Italian Market here in Murrells Inlet.  It’s on Highway 17 Bypass and lucky for me, less than 10 minutes from my home.  As you can see from the photos it’s a great place full of wonderful produce, Italian delicacies, great cheeses—but most of all superior quality foods.  Scott Lee and his father-in-law Skeeter Dombrowski are a joy to visit and take great pride in the quality of their items, with lots of goodies arriving daily from New Jersey.  At the holidays you can find seafood choices from smelts to shrimp to squingilli!  If you’re in the Myrtle Beach area stop in and say “hi”.”

Great selection of fresh produce, specialty cheeses,Italian food and a friendly and helpful staff. Free samples of many items to try before you buy.”

People in the Coastal Region are rediscovering the benefits of buying local food. It is fresher than the supermarket and that means it is tastier and more nutritious. It is also good for the local Myrtle Beach economy--buying directly from South Carolina family farmers helps them stay in business.
